How to Play
Basics
Each game has one or more decks - usually one per player.

Each deck starts with a word or phrase chosen by the first player.

The next player tries to draw the phrase.

The next player interprets the drawing (in words).
And so on, until the last turn.
Even turns are always drawing. Odd turns are always writing. Games alwasy end on an odd turn with a final interpretation.
First Turn
The game starts with the first player in each deck picking a word or phrase to draw.

If the game has a Theme, pick a word or phrase inspired by or related to the theme.
If you are playing for accuracy, pick a phrase that will be easy to draw and interpret.
Second Turn
Draw an interpretation of the phrase from the previous turn.

If playing for accuracy, consider game theme in your intepretation.
Real-Time or Turn-Based?
Whether the game is real-time or turn based depends upon Turn Length setting of the game.

Turn lengths of a few minutes or less are intended for players who want to stay online and complete a game in one sitting, more or less real-time
Longer turn lengths are intended to allow players to come do their turns when they have time
As of this writing (October 2018) we are experimenting with what should happen when a player is overdue for a turn (wait, automatically skip, allow game owner to skip, vote to skip, kick, etc.). Until this is done, there is no enforcement of turn length. Please try to honor the intent of the game's settings.
Winning
This game is based upon the classic Children's game Telephone (known as Chinese Whispers, for some reason, in Britain).
You can play for accuracy ("Telephone" style games) or for humourous intepretation ("Rumors" style games)
Deciding who wins is up to the players. The point of the game is to play it.
